Michael Cohen takes the stand today. There likely will be plenty of recesses for von ShitzInPants to change his diapers.
Happy Monday, y’all!
The Trump Crime Syndicate is a reality show brought into the real world.
Rudy Giuliani won’t be getting his radio broadcast gig back anytime soon, according to the MAGA-loving station owner who yanked him off the air after he questioned the legitimacy of President Joe Biden’s election win earlier this month. The former Trump lawyer was suspended and his show on WABC canceled after his remarks, The New York Times first reported on Friday. As for his future with the station, “It’s pretty hard to bring him back,” station boss John Catsimatidis told the New York Post on Sunday. “His behavior makes it very hard to reverse course. He makes it hard not to terminate him.” The newspaper reported that Catsimatidis himself filled in for Giuliani on his regular 10 a.m. slot Sunday, saying the former New York City mayor had “three strikes” against him, having previously warned him about failing to toe the Big Lie. “We warned him once,” Catsimatidis previously told the Times. “We warned him twice. And I get a text from him last night, and I get a text from him this morning that he refuses not to talk about it.”
This could be the lightest MM ever responded to, due to the live blog on Michael Cohen at TIFBG’s trial today.
Stay tuned. It’s likely to be a bumpy day…
What, no sofa, cushy pillows? How do you get away with that?
He must be speaking about the repression and blacklisting of the Gaza protestors…
Looking forward to TPM/Josh’s thoughts on the NYT polls of swing states (which the Times sent me as an alert – really, NYT?).
Also, pissed that the weather was cloudy/rainy all weekend here in eastern PA. I really would have liked to see the northern lights. I guess there’s still a chance, but unlikely. It’s about the same as the chance that I’ll be up at 3 a.m.
Up until the early eighties WABC was a popular, probably the most popular in the country 50k megawatts Top 40 radio station featuring legendary disc jockeys such as Cousin Brucie and Dan Ingram. The suits saw how music programming was going over to the FM band due to its cleaner sound plus with the emergence of MTV so they like in other markets AM stations went to an all-talk format. For a few years they had a wide range of hosts with diverse views, but by the late eighties and into the nineties they went full right wing with the addition of flagship syndicated hosts like Limbaugh and his numerous imitators. A decade or so ago when ABC corporate was trying to unload their radio holdings the supermarket chain magnet Catsimatidis purchased it and filled it with floatsam and jetsam like Giuliani etc. “Judy Nathan on line one” “Rudy, where is my alimony?”
and the hits keep coming…
French government says Kristi Noem lied about cancelling meeting with Macron
I’m waiting for Cuba to chime in about a potential or lied about meeting with her. Simply because a fair number of plains states legislators make to trek there to negotiate agricultural deals.
Will voters remember in November what they hear in May?
I personally think it’s too far away.
And if the worst possible thing happens (not convicted), the voters will hear about it through December because TIFBG will make the lack of conviction a centerpiece of his campaign.
Trump will just pull off a “James Comey moment” and the only recollection that will matter is the last week of October.
