The number of people ripe for underbussing grows every day.

How long has it been since Tom Price resigned for some unauthorized travel on our dime. We’ve also had Scott Pruitt’s $43K sound proof phone booth, Ben Carson’s $31K dining set and Ryan Zinke’s $139K office door… all chump change compared to this attempted fleecing of Ukraine’s government. But even that pales to what I believe is the real reason Trump withheld the funding for missiles; Putin wants Ukraine and Trump needs to deliver.

Oh my…they’re saying 8 witnesses are testifying in public this week. Is there really enough popcorn in the country to get Americans through these difficult times? What’s worse is tRump fucked up our avocado food-chain supply out of Mexico, which leaves many of us with nothing more than a bag of dry tortilla chips. I predict however salsa will be flying off the shelves this week. (I feel fortunate in that respect since I canned my own this fall.)

Some of these guys wouldn’t know how to add an app to their phone. It’s doubtful they spend much time immersed in the bowels of the internet. They’re not as savvy as you might expect.

“And then things got out of hand”

There. FIFY.

“Underbussing” is such a uniquely lovely turn of phrase!:clap::clap:

With that in mind I also think that impeachment is entirely too rare here. Each GOP president since Nixon was impeachable with the possible exception of Bush1 (not sure of Bush1’s problems beyond pardoning all the convicts from Reagan’s scams)

They would be within the scope of the documents the House subpoenaed, but there’s been no indication that the State Dept. or White House have produced any of the documents to the House committees. The House is not the source of the leaks, but there are plenty of leaky suspects in both Foggy Bottom and the White House.

I can’t take credit for it. I think Josh invented it.

I humbly propose the creation of the verb “to underbus” as using forms of the phrase “to be thrown under the bus” is simply too unwieldy, long and nettlesome to be workable in what promises to be a season of intense and constant underbusing. cc: @MerriamWebster

I hate to sound like a conspiracist but I was watching MSNBC just now while a former ambassador was speaking and the TV cut out and went to black. At first it said that cable lost the signal and then went totally black.

“Russia, if you’re listening…”

This is truly looking like the beginning of a fucking Outer Limits episode. What if they’ve gotten ahold of our digital TV signals to use at opportune times?

Strange Times:

There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image, make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: there is nothing wrong with your television set. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind…

They should set up the House hearing room and play this interview on a continuous loop today:

Taken together, new evidence paints a picture of Trump administration officials lashed ever closer to coercion — or as Democrats call it, bribery — of a foreign government for a domestic political advantage.

You mean there are some who don’t believe that withholding or offering to do a public act in exchange for a private favor isn’t bribery? Pray tell, who? I know several local politicians who have been charged and convicted under the bribery statute for less.
