Remember those group pictures of all the people who went to prison after Watergate? Good times. But sure, maybe you don’t remember. Or maybe the jury will believe you don’t remember. But maybe the prosecutor will point out how eager you were to take the conversation to a place where there’d be no record? How there’s credible testimony you were far more eager to get that “quo” or “deliverable” or whatever we’re going to call it than you first painted yourself? Anyway that’s your problem, pal. Hope your time in the big leagues leave you with lots of happy memories, dipshit.

And Mueller seemed to believe that it was a legitimate thing. He also believed that should not interview suspects because you might be subjecting them to the “perjury trap” , so McGann, Trump and many others were excused.

Saying “I don’t recall X” when I testified that X didn’t happen doesn’t mean that Sondland is disputing anything said by Bill Taylor. What it means is that he got called out in a lie by Taylor, and the best justification he can come up with is “I don’t remember.” Anything stronger will get him nailed for lying to Congress.

We stayed at Hotel Max in Seattle. $$$ and not even a mini-fridge in the room. Most La Quintas and Holiday Inns are better value that this place.

It’s unclear whether Taylor is turning over those contemporaneous notes to Congress.
If I were Schiff, I would not inform the press that documents had or had not been submitted. If for no other reason than maintaining security in the face of Nunes, Meadows, Jordan and other members of the Gaetztapo.
If these are Taylor’s personal hand written or typed (on his own laptop), State may have a diminished authority to prevent them from being turned over.
