Former Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder (R) pulled out of his research fellowship at Harvard on Wednesday after critics slammed the university for granting prestige to the same governor who has been widely criticized for the infamous water crisis in Flint.

With Snyder’s job experience, he should have no trouble getting a job with Union Carbide.

I’m glad you say this. Moreover, who had even heard of this woman before this reporting? For a woman with her resources she seems to fairly enlightened, But for the sake of generating smartass remarks and clicks she’s today villainess of grand proportions.

Seems as if Snyder was afraid that some one or more of those snooty innalekshools was likely going to give him a hard time. What a …I believe ‘snowflake’ is the term of art.

And get a load of his Twatter handle: one tough nerd, indeed!

“I believe the Kennedy School needs to study both failures and successes of government, and we anticipated that students would have learned from engaging with and questioning Governor Snyder about his consequential role in decisions regarding Flint and many other issues during his eight years in office,” Elmendorf wrote.

You don’t need to reward gross incompetence with a prestigious fellowship. All you have to do is invite him to give a talk, with questions afterwards. Or better yet, just wait for a transcript from the impending trial.

How to poison an entire city is certainly a skill that needs to be shared.

Ivy League schools are very overrated.

I believe it is constructive to listen to both sides and yes, it could have been interesting. That being said, the man is being SUED for his part in poisoning people under his care as Governor…what do you think HIS side would have been?

“Civility” is the idea that everyone should be respectful towards Republicans and refrain from saying or doing anything that offends a Republican or hurts a Republicans feelings. It is the highest virtue recognized by our media.

The idea that Republicans should be respectful towards anyone else and should refrain from saying or doing anything that offends other people or hurts other people’s feelings is “Political Correctness,” and it is the most vile sin anyone can commit. Funny how that works out.

And how many children have been killed, injured, and/or permanently disabled by this joker’s malfeasance and corruption? And Snyder is worried about “our current political environment and its lack of civility.”

Snyder is lucky that he hasn’t been tarred, feathered and lynched as a result of what has happened in Flint.

Holy shit. Who could have imagined that the first of the murderous, nihilistic repugs to sacrifice a perk out of shame would be the Flint Poisoner his very own self.
