“Really ridiculous, illegal, and, of course, very unfair”
This is a really odd sentence for a Trump Tweet. There’s an implied “wink wink, nudge nudge“ here, and a hint of irony. Someone’s having fun with Trump’s twitter account. Scavino, Hope Hicks, Barron?
Someone talked to their lawyers, who explained how many lawsuits would come about after promoting such a pack of lies defaming Fauci and encouraging dangerous behavior. I guess it’s good that even Sinclair has limits to the propaganda it will publish, but it would be better if they were forced to broadcast factual news for a change.
Dr. Joseph Costa, the chief of critical care who treated the sickest coronavirus patients at Baltimore’s Mercy Medical Center, died this weekend from Covid-19, the hospital confirmed to CNN. He was 56.
“Illegal”??? I thought you were a RepubliCON who supports free markets and unregulated businesses. Twitter’s free to do what they want, even if you don’t like it. Man, my 3 and 8 year old kids whine less than this fat buffoon.
Speaking of baseball, would you believe Trump hadn’t even been invited to throw out the first pitch at the Yankees game? Of course you would, and you’d be right!
Look at what been happening to public health officials in other states. In Ohio the public health director had protestors in front of her house calling her a Nazi. The Pennsylvania director was repeatedly attacked and since she’s a trans woman it’s even worse.
We’re in deep shit. The whole world is reeling and so many Americans feel inclined to trivialize this disease.
And here’s the deal. If we can eventually control the virus with a vaccine, we’ll still have global climate disruption to deal with. We don’t have time for bullshit like Sinclair’s “marketplace of ideas”.
The fact that they’re broadcast instead of cable opens them up to complaints, license challenges and fines in a way that cable-only outlets are immune to. Every station would have to defend a license challenge about why they broadcast false, dangerous-to-the-public information during a public health crisis. And the FCC would likely find itself forced to levy some kind of fine at least commensurate with a wardrobe malfunction.
Would someone PLEASE get that woman to a neurologist and/or psychiatrist? Looking at her cv, she appears to have been coherent at some point in her life. Clearly something is taking a toll on her synapses. Not a joke. Get her some help.
