Short Responds To Russian Meddling Reports | Talking Points Memo

Don’t feel bad. Neither did the founders of this nation.

That’s “soak chaos.” And no, I have no idea of what that’s supposed to mean…

I’ve been constantly amazed that Pence didn’t coordinate with the Republican Senators - he is, after all, the “president of the Senate” - to let them know he would continue Trump’s good works without the erratic lunacy of the current imPOTUS, so that they should feel safe in voting Trump out of office. That he would, furthermore, protect them from the vengeance of an enraged but disempowered Trump. And that by voting to remove Trump from office, they would cut the legs out from Democrats all over the US in their election campaigns in November.

Apparently, Pence really is as dumb as he acts - or maybe his “Mother” is.

Yeah, and it’s right there in the Federalist papers. By Hamilton, no less.

A lot of tap dancing, but nowhere near this good:

How about, "Its not the crime, its the most colossal cluster fuck the world has ever seen."

Trump should like the hyperbole.

One of the MSNBC shows showed a clip of a Trump voter asked whether she cared about the Russian interference. Her answer (in the posh accent you would expect of someone in line at a Trump rally) was that it didn’t matter because she didn’t know anyone who voted for Trump who was or would be be influenced by Russians.

Dear dog, these people just don’t get it.

Probably a conflation of “sow chaos”. “Sowchaos”. “Soak chaos”.

Splitting hairs.

Russia is interfering with the 2020 election AND they like working with Trump.

US intelligence apparently lacks a direct connection of the two, but it doesn’t take a genius to believe this is a matter of “when” not “if” this evidence will be found.

I guess it takes a genius to swallow the gaslighting.

So who do you believe, the guy providing the briefing (even when under pressure) or the NSC officials who say that was not a “nuanced” meaning AFTER IT F’ING BLOWS UP in the maladministration’s face?

They be dizzy from all their spinning!

Ok … a silly couple questions here. This fellow, Mr. Short, calls out our media (I assume he means news sites an papers and such) as “fake media”. Does Mr. Short (thick irony of course as goobers are short on intelligence) consider Fox as the only reputable news outlet? Would “fake” then mean all other news outlets are Russian controlled since he said Russia was interfering?

Sweet dreams.

When these knuckleheads are gone I will cackle with glee. There will be slobber.

Well, I guess this means that Marc won’t get re-hired by UVA as an Adjunct Professor again. If they thought the protests were bad LAST time!

Short has such an easy tell when he lies (besides the moving-lips thing): as the pressure mounts, as the questions get tougher (even under the withering both-siderism from Choad), Short’s voice grows higher and more strident. I’ve seen it every time I’ve seen him speak.

As long as I kept the pressure on, my teenagers always did the same.

I think I’ll stitch that on a pillow.
