Arizona’s politicized audit of its largest county’s 2020 election results is a “model” for other states, a Pennsylvania state senator told Trump ally Steve Bannon Wednesday after touring the Arizona operation.
I still don’t understand how and/or why individuals not affiliated with the Boards of Elections in the various states can just walk in, big as life, and demand ballots for their own private recount. This is a recipe for chaos every election season…I know states get to control their election process, but this is madness.
Note sure how this can be stopped…
bu it was interesting 5-6 months ago that whenever all of this fabricated bull-crap got hauled out into the daylight in a courtroom … the MAGA-NAZI TRUMP LEGAL CLOWNS dove out of the way like somebody had rolled a live grenade in their direction.
For Republican insurrectionists like Mastriano, the lesson is that using the institutions of democracy to overthrow democracy is a winning gambit.
The GOP has become an insurgent outlier in American politics. It is ideologically extreme; scornful of compromise; unmoved by conventional understanding of facts, evidence and science; and dismissive of the legitimacy of its political opposition. - Thomas E. Mann and Norman Ornstein, April 27, 2012
You know just once I’d like a reporter, specifically a PA reporter to ask one of these state legislators how voting works in their state, and how do the ballots get counted. I want them on the record that they can accurately state their state/county’s process.
Then reporters should ask how does using UV lights help find paper with bamboo content? Or that they need to show how fraudulent ballots entered the system to be counted, and make the numbers of voters who voted be equal to the ballots counted.
And frankly I’m getting so petty and vindictive that I want reporters to look into these legislator’s businesses. Have they ever been audited?
Can’t be stopped, but it could sure as hell be slowed down if more states went to 100% vote by mail like here in WA and other states. Post-election “auditors” can still play games with signatures and such, but at least it would get nonsense about hacked voting machines out of the picture.
OT… Stop the presses!! For once I agree with Clarence Thomas. Court decided a cop that used a database improperly for personal gain didn’t commit a crime because he had authorized access to it. Thomas dissented.
Sigh. What more is there to say at this point? As long as Sinema and Manchin see no evil, hear no evil, we’re stuck.
I’m at the point where I want Sinema to lose, and I don’t care if that means a Republican wins her seat. Hopefully we make it up in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania among other states, but regardless, she must lose. The last straw for he was her smirking performance with fucking Cornyn yesterday. I’m just done with her.
Arizona is a swing state leaning blue. It’s certainly no West Virginia. I don’t understand her reasoning at all.
Half that and saving the grift. The new rules being implemented are a slow pull back from participating in this country on even footing. Like a soft secession. They control their rotted empires but get the funds from D.C. Nice gig if you can get it.
Does WA use machines to scan ballots for tallying? If so then the claim that they can be hacked be made, falsely, but still be made.
I’m getting tired of their hoodoo over counting ballots when I can guarantee they have no clue how their own state/county system counts ballots.
Also how many other businesses/organizations have they interviewed to audit their county’s ballots? Or their state’s ballots.
THIS.IS.A.FUCKING.FISHING. EXPEDITION!!!
They can’t tell what went wrong, only that they feel that something went wrong.
