When the snow starts it’s time for boots.
I wear crocs with support stockings year around unless I’ll be outside for hours. I’m all about comfort year around.

I’m pretty much socks and tennis shoes year round. Though I do have two pair of hiking boots, which I’ll pair with good warm socks if the snow is over 4 inches.

Oh I save the hand knitting for sweaters, mine and others.
I’ve made a few sweaters, but I’m often too warm when I wear them.
