Several Well-Known Hate Groups Identified At Capitol Riot | Talking Points Memo

Not precision like a sniper. Like I said, you see a whole big piece of terrain just jump up in this astonishing way. It’s hard to imagine how anyone in it could survive.

The Inaugeration is a National Special Security Event where all the security planning is by the Secret Service. (Biden selected his and Obama’s Secret Service team for his new detail. After this week, probably a good idea - you don’t know who you can trust these days.)

There will be sharpshooters posted everywhere. If these jackasses even try to bring firearms into the National Capital Area on Jan. 17th onward, they will be presumed to be terrorists and apprehended or shot on sight. Word is going out that the Secret Service, Federal Protective Service, FBI, DoJ and DHS security services will not play nice with these thugs, since the tragic death of the Capital Hill Policeman on Wednesday.

All that said, I STILL wish they would hold the swearing in in the House Chamber and not outdoors on the west steps. I also hope they hide Ms. Pelosi in a secure spot with a nice TV just in case.

Just trespassing on Federal property for a corrupt purpose carries a 10 year sentence. They can put all these assholes away for a long time.

Thank you for the correction. I apologize for posting something so wrong.

John Judis…kind of a Judas

So many freelance and independent researchers doing the legwork on this research. WTH do we have a Department of Homeland Security for? If three guys with Mohammed in their names start talking like this, it’s a full court press. Where was Chad Wolf and his helicopter?

I do want to thank these morons for making it easy for us to identify them.
The full weight of Federal law enforcement needs to be brought down on these traitors.

Rot in prison, mofos. Rot in prison.

That wasn’t a riot, it was an attack on the Capitol. It was the Fort Sumter of the current civil war.

How does DC police normally characterize large demonstrations?

I could see “first amendment activity” becoming bureaucratic jargon out of a desire for “neutrality”. Like much bureaucratic jargon though, it manages obscure what is actually happening; simultaneously trivializing social movements, and camouflaging extreme actions.

Neither an insurrection nor a riot is a demonstration though. Using “demonstration” in an after event summary is inexcusable.

I dunno. Just noting that the use after was consistent with how they characterized it before. I do recall thinking it was a bit odd, don’t remember that in previous notices, but whatever it was, didn’t change after the insurrection, so wasn’t nefarious after the fact.

I read the first three or four paragraphs, thought WTF?, scrolled up and checked the byline. Oh. John Judis, never mind.

WaPo actually ran the headline “The four-hour insurrection”

I think you’re supposed to see a doctor about those

I think that is an excellent idea. Particularly since trump isn’t going but everyone else who is anyone in government will attend. I am not comfortable in trusting even the military at this point.

BTW, I am not normally paranoid.

You can buy an operational tank on the Internet? Who knew?

Now that is taking names. And a great piece of taxidermy.

Would you be interested in a T-72? Perhaps a late model T-55? We’re having a special this week on bridge laying tanks (or as they were known by the D-Day planning dudes - “Hobart’s Funnies”). Please have your credit card ready when ordering…

You’re going to need an ex-military type to help get the main gun back in operation, but there’s actually lots of sites that will sell you a functioning armoured vehicle…

And to explain “Hobart’s Funnies”
