The Washington Post, Politico and other news outlets are asking the journalists who reported on this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) to self-quarantine after news emerged of at least one CPAC attendee who tested positive for COVID-19.
Sometimes, karma really delivers quickly. At CPAC, all these assholes were talking about the “Democrat hoax virus”, and now there’s a real chance that many of them have it, and some may get really sick. It probably won’t stop them from spinning this as the Democrat’s fault, or anyone but Trump’s, but the reality is pretty clear at this point.
It’s only going to get worse for them too…at the rate the stock market is falling, and with no relief in sight, it’s quite likely that all of the gains during Trump’s time in office will be erased. Add a bunch of dead Americans to a failing economy, and the flailing response of the administration as the coronavirus came ashore, and they pretty much have written the end of Trump’s presidency.
No, No. No. All right wing media should get together in the same very, very small room with the CPAC attendees, all of his judicial nominees, and everyone he has appointed in the USC. Perhaps toss in a few ebola and Zika patients. And his kids (they are sort of worse). Then lock the doors…
They can read Trump tweets about leaving cruise ship passengers off shore to keep the numbers down.
P.s. can we toss in the NYT editors and reporters who focused laser like on “her e-mails” in 2016?
Why would a Democrat hoax make these Cons self-quarantine?
And why are they disobeying the directive of their Dear Leader, who said people should go to work if they are infected? By Trumps order should Doug Collins not go straight to the White House and shake Trumps hand (unless he is still golfing…).
Somewhat OT: King County, WA reports today that there are now 20 deaths due to Covid-19 and 19(!) are from the nursing home. We are up to 116 positive tests in King County. The state has not updated yet. I am guessing that there will be a surge in new positive tests.
