House Intelligence Committee ranking member Devin Nunes (R-CA), who has spent most of his committee’s impeachment proceedings attempting to legitimize bogus conspiracy theories about Ukraine, accused Democrats on Wednesday of spreading conspiracy theories about him.
We can only hope that the investigation of Nunes continues to snowball into something that shows he’s actually involved in criminal activity…he’s dumb enough to have done something like that. All of this likely hurts his chances in 2020, and good riddance if he does lose.
“I haven’t actually been able to read how they’ve detailed this, but what I’m hearing is that it’s some new conspiracy theory about how we’re now involved with the firing of an ambassador or something,” Nunes said on Wednesday. “I mean it’s really crazy town.”
So Dev was out of town while the Intelligence Committee held closed door and public hearings?
Schiff needs to publish the attendance records for all of the hearings.
I always knew Devin was stoopid, but this right here is on a whole nuther level. He’s too dumb to mount an effective cover-up. Once they start lookin, he’s toast.
I hope he’s tuff enuff to be that stoopid - cause there’s a whole lotta hurt coming his way. Devin is way too soft for prison. He’s not gonna like it.
Maybe Duncan will save him a bunk and they can room together - though Devin prolly prefers to room with his buddy, Gym.
Seriously, enough bad shit cannot happen to this guy. I wish him all the worst.
I’m really tired of this 90s high school/frat boy pretend to be ignorant, just to piss off the adults attitude.
So listening to the recap of the hearings so far on NPR one host commented on how Republicans are claiming what Trump did was wrong, but not impeachable. Along with the theory that Trump’s base voted for him to be a ‘distuptor’ and that they didn’t like how government was working. So I’m screaming on the river trail “So what you want is a dictator that sows discord and chaos wherever he goes!” The deer were not impressed.
And another item they discussed was that Trump would like to take more power from the Congress and the Judiciary. So again with the dictator motif. And all these Republican Congress critters will be fine when Trump eliminates their numbers, then their pay, and finally doing away with the House all together.
God how do we wake up the voters and tell them we’re in the midst of slow moving coup?
He sounds like a three year old trying to explain to his mother that he did not eat the cookies, with a broken jar on the kitchen floor and crumbs and chocolate chip smears all over his face and shirt.
