Perhaps we should infect him with SARS-CoV-2, make sure he generates a lot of antibodies, and then just drain his blood for our use. That’s the best way that monster can help. Oh, is that cruel and unusual? OK, then maybe just half his blood, give him a couple weeks and then go back for another half. Rinse, repeat… Still cruel and unusual? Hey, it’s better than a big wood chipper!

Holy shit one of the fastest deaths after diagnosis I think I’ve ever heard of with pancreatic cancer. Maybe like with heart disease women don’t feel or react to pain as much.

I don’t think it’s a woman thing, it’s just a certain kind of person thing. Plenty of men ignore signs of heart disease until they fall over (fewer now, but still happens). Or of hypoglycemia if they’re diabetics. Or mini-strokes… (Both my parents ignored warning signs of their conditions. In part, I think, because they dreaded having to acknowledge that they were sick at all.)
Based of stuff I’ve read, ok more skimmed, there supposedly is a difference between how men and women sense heart attacks.
