The federal government will create chaos (legally?), then simply must step into local elections to determine that all Republicans “really” won and must be sworn in. The Court should be able to figure it all out in two weeks.

Somebody needs to tell Trump that he isn’t going to be President past 2028. The Republicans need the filibuster going forward.
As ‘full’ and ‘deep’ are side by side, I hope he meant full-throated as in enthusiastic. rah-rah, win one for the Gipper and had just transposed the words. He’s a nasty old fuck though, so I’d guess his subtext is his desire to be serviced and for R Senate to experience humiliation on a grand scale.

Susan Collins is in favor of Trump’s SAVE Act, even though the state of Maine is against it. Badly out of touch with her state on this one. She announced her support in February 2026.

A very true statement, remarkably enough, considering the source. As evidence, one needs only to look at effects of the US presidential elections held in November of 2016 and 2024.

I would like to hear esteemed Senator Rick Scott’s oratory skills with reference to factors which have proved to affect the outcome of elections so far.

The last time, the House of Representatives sent members home to allow some sort of procedural tactic so that the Housing Affordability Bill would fall flat. The president did not veto that bill. (Perhaps he was up all night, busy in his meme studio.) It did not get a veto, and is now law. Anyway, I am more pleased with Republican politicians being stuck in Washington rather than out on the campaign trail back home. Especially with the losing hand they have regarding the issues I mentioned above.

Excellent idea. Republicans having had the presidency for the last 19 months and have had majorities in the US House and Senate for what seems to be forever, let’s get into a blame war as to who controlled the people’s business for the last 18 months. Let’s do that starting four months before the 2026 election.
Let that war of words start with: 1) the Republican war of choice against Iran at this particular time, 2) Republican trade tariffs that have made the US hard to deal with, and 3) Republicans alienating our military allies.

John Thune should not allow the United States Senate to “leave town” until it passes The Save America Act or, far better still, TERMINATES THE FILIBUSTER, where Republicans can then quickly pass everything they ever dreamed of, including a full and deep throated SAVE AMERICA ACT
