Barr has been a corrupt shill for the Unitary Executive ever since he convinced GHW Bush to (de facto) pardon himself and many other big shots for the unConstitutional Iran/Contra Mess that occurred under Reagan’s Alzheimer Phase. ••• Please notice that he only goes on tv when it’s FOX, so he can look counterfactual and honest. He is never really honest. Always slimy. ••• I think he should go to that hunting lodge where Scalia took his last nap. At least it was comped.

Bill Barr is slippery as hell! Imagine that, a slippery lawyer! He always digs his grave and then tries to climb out. His fidelity to the U.S. Constitution and to law and order is slippery. Imagine that, in an Attorney General.

TPM should contact Wilmer Hale’s managing partner for a comment on the employment status of their employee, Edward O’Callaghan.

None of this was a surprise. Why did it take them so long? Republicans already have all of their investigations planned out should they somehow regain power. I guess piling on before the mid-terms isn’t awful timing, but they better make one of these investigations stick.

Wow, whoever thought Billy Barr could be related to John Mitchell? Martha never got around to telling us that one secret. /s

If we’re lucky, Berman’s book might put a bit of a roadblock in Billy Barr’s whitewashing tour.

Maybe Dick’s next investigation could be into the insider trading by members of both the Senate and the House.

“I witnessed and made an iPhone recording of Trump destroying federal documents and evidence just after I personally witnessed and recorded him throttling Melania’s parakeet and purchasing 2K of cocaine from Jr. I thought about reporting it, but then I thought, well shoot, I’ll just save it for a book.”

I ask again…how guilty does trump hafta be to get indicted?

And it pisses me off I keep seeing Steven Mnuchin’s name on my paper money.
Why not put Al Capone’s name there?

The rate we’re rediscovering what happened under 4 years of the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad administration that was Trump’s, well we’ll need at least 8 years to clean his stank out of our institutions, agencies, services, and especially the judiciary.

You know with the pandemic and all that, the DoJ’s contract to rent digging machines finally got filled.

Just think. If McConnell hadn’t meddled in the confirmation process Garland would simply be a Justice on SCOTUS instead of an updated version of Eliott Ness.
