Trump blames Obama. Obama gave the FDA oversight over testing instrument development so as to avoid scamming of the CDC, who have no qa/qc experience with third party instruments. Obama would have easily granted emergency dispensations to FDC to speed up oversight. Trump has taken FDA out of the loop after FDA personnel discovered flaws in the testing instruments, for reasons known only to Trump but likely include his aversion to “bad news” and perhaps to facilitate grifting by his rich buds. Problem is, will reporters be able to communicate this instead of “Trump Blames Obama.”

This was pretty much a version of what I was going to come here and say. Seems to me, though, that a House committee could do a pretty good job of this, and then that committee could compare/contrast the inevitable forthcoming-ness of the Dems’ documents and testimony with the lack of Trump’s forthcoming-ness.
