Are there any countries for sale, your integrity and independence? Any of you up for some bribery and extortion to get the 100’s of millions of dollars of defense and other support that the American Congress has approved for you?

All ya gotta do is help Donald J. Trump get re-elected in 2020 so he can avoid criminal conviction and continue to destroy everything that’s good about the United States (Russia, China, North Korea - I’m talking to you here), using any corrupt and false and dirty means you can.

I don’t see why at least one Democrat isn’t calling the UK, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, or Israel to solicit campaign help. If Republicans really don’t care about it and will use any means necessary themselves to cheat to win, then aren’t we throwing away a valid tactic by playing clean?

They justified 11 investigations of Benghazi in order to undermine Hillary Clinton’s candidacy. They will certainly justify calling for a foreign government to investigate a former American Vice President to undermine his candidacy.

Republicans hate American governance. They’ve been undermining the Constitution for years as well.

And the obvious rebuttal to this is that it’s irrelevant whether or not the Bidens were corrupt up to their eyeballs, because one, there are proper ways to investigate such things and this is SO not it, and two, when Repubs controlled both houses during the time that Hunter Biden worked for Burisma and Joe Biden was in charge of US Ukraine policy, not once did they investigate any of this.

Plus, of course, there’s absolutely no evidence that any crimes were committed or that Joe Biden did anything unethical. This is just yet another attempt to misdirect from the real crimes here, which are Trump’s and his allies’. It’s like catching a murderer with the bloody knife in his hand standing next to the corpse, a bag of loot in his other hand, and he rants on about how the victim was a moocher.

The ferocity with which Trump and his henchmen pursued this, the repeated attempts to twist Zelensky’s arm, the fact that Trump dispatched Rudy to allegedly investigate the Bidens instead of telling Barr to have actual federal investigators do so, the deliberate and illegal withholding of aid to Ukraine, and all the rest of it, clearly prove Trump’s intent here, beyond any doubt.

It’s not legal or proper for a president to abuse their power for political gain. Period.

There was NEVER any place for them to come. They had no intentions of honoring their oath and they are just going through the motions.

AGAIN, the MSM and blogs are not focusing on what is important and that is the fact that the Republican Senate are traitors to the Constitution of the United States and it’s more important for old white men to stay in power than to follow the rules of law and that includes Justice Roberts who has let the Republican do TV interviews, leave the room and break all kinds of Senate decorum.

Even then it wouldn’t be the same thing, as they’d be asking for a favor with nothing offered in return let alone extorting such help with threats. Still not right, but not at all as bad as bribery and extortion. Nor was this legitimate “bribery” and extortion, e.g. when we offer a country aid in exchange for implementing legal reforms, or threaten to withhold aid unless they stop cooperating with terrorists. Trump did this for personal gain, an impeachable act.
