A Republican contender for U.S. Senate repeatedly made comments insinuating some Republicans had a dual loyalty to Israel because of the “very strong American Jewish lobby,” CNN reported Friday.
He’ll fit right in. To rival Giuliani, he’s gonna have to up his “spittle flying” game, though.
I’m confused. Don’t the Jews control the Democrats and are therefore disloyal to America? Or Israel? Or …?

That is nowhere near enough to win a Senatorial election, especially against a popular Senator like Tina Smith (D).
The National GOP views him as a “sacrificial lamb” candidate whose only job is to “normalize” Trump’s outlandish behavior by comparison and hopefully let Trump win the state in 2020.
Good luck with that. Trump lost by a 1.5% margin, a historical aberration due to the successful demonization of Hillary by 40 years of Reich-Wing Propaganda + effective polarization among the college crowd due to massive Social Media propaganda campaigns by Russian Trolls in MN.
That won’t happen this time around. I expect the Democratic Candidate (whomever it is) to win by 4-8% in 2020, with Tina Smith strolling to re-election easily.

It’s all peace and brotherhood in the GOP - doesn’t Roy Moore even have a Jeeewwww lawyer? It’s just that they’ve really stepped up their game since Hillary Killary took over. What with the blood libels and all - they just weren’t as organized.
That Senate seat should have still belonged to Al Franken. The allegations weren’t published in one huge story that took months of work like Weinstein or Charlie Rose. The allegations were rushed out by a bunch of online sites that published the accusers’ statements like they were absolute facts. But hardly any of the accusations were properly vetted before being published and they come across more like conjecture with some being outright lies due to the photos later being shown to have been cropped. Jane Meyer investigated the first accuser’s claims and she found too many inconsistencies that it’s obvious now that Tweeden lied about how Franken treated her while most of the other victims declined a chance to be interviewed. People likely saw the first photo and then thought Franken was automatically guilty of everything he would be accused of.
Franken took thousands of photos with fans and if he was a serial groper or sexual assaulter, I would believe that we’d hear A LOT more accusations come out. Compare this to anime voice actor Vic Mignogna who was accused of sexual assault and took thousands of photos with fans. There were dozens of fans online talking about the negative rumors they heard about him during fan conventions along with their own bad experiences with Vic where he would get uncomfortably close during pictures with photo evidence to back it up. Franken’s photos mostly show him putting his arm around another person’s shoulder.
Franken seriously needs to make a political comeback and there needs to be a proper investigation into all of the allegations lobbied against him.

According to evangelical theory based on some 16 modern fiction books called the Left Behind series there will be a war between the anti-Christ and Buddy Jesus who will ultimately become King of the World. In the process all true evangelicals will be Raptured up to heaven. The plot of the books involves a final war that starts in Israel. They believe it is their sacred evangelical duty to start that war as soon as possible. Seriously, evangelicals believe in some seriously flawed theological plotting that doesn’t hold together as well the Harry Potter series.
