There is an unfounded rumor swirling around the DC swamp that the GOP Senators may actually be forced into doing something to help the Country. For once…

Fainting couches are being mobilized by the National Guard in the event that actually comes to pass.

No tours of the Capitol and they’re not going home… looks like someone doesn’t want to rub elbows with the public.

What? You don’t believe the Republicans are staying in DC so they can do their best for the welfare of the American people?

It seems less and less hyperbolic to refer to the Rs as a “death cult”

Gotta stay in town because, well, as Moscow Mitch has shown, the Senate gets to much done. Can’t he say no from Sean Hannity’s TV studio, or the Russian embassy?

McConnell translation-The heartless sociopaths we are, we are going to use this contagion as leverage to gut medicare and social security.

That looks like egg and probably some infected spittle on McConnell’s face since earlier this morning he was still planning on the Senate recess and delaying any related votes until after they got back. He looks like twice the fool he was this morning.

“Pelosi also said in a closed-door meeting earlier this week that ‘we are the captains of the ship’ and ‘we are the last to leave’…”

Do Nothing rethugs won’t make any progress even if they cancel the recess. It’s cynical and disgusting of them to attach abortion to the bill at this point.

I’m trying to imagine a non-hyperbolic way a government could be more broken than this one. Only one-sixth of it is interested in addressing critical matters of domestic and international security in an adult way.

That picture of McConnell makes it seem that the humanity has been completely drained out of him. Reason: It has.

No, keep them there because of how many were at C-PAC, Mara-A-Lago, and other cesspools.

The Democratic House has already passed its relief bill, right? The one with assistance to companies for providing sick leave, the costs for testing, added funding to the federal health agencies, and the like? But it’s too much and too “political” for McConnell to even permit the Senators to look at. The House could, with some justification, take a recess, having done its work. It’s on the Senate now, and McConnell really doesn’t want to do jack.
