Pak will surely provide a fresh example of Trump’s treachery. Bring it!

With what Senator Durbin apparently learned from Rosen, Pak will be two scoops on the T**** indictment cake.

Pretty easy to see that this is the same kind of “Just say it out loud and we’ll take it from here” plan that worked on Hillary in 2016 and same as the attempted Ukraine/Biden debacle.

Trump kept going back to this well because he had 40% of America willing to watch him shoot someone on 5th Ave. and still support him.

Democracy cannot function properly under those conditions.

Do we see a pattern here?

As I recall, it was reported that Trump said to say the election was corrupt, “and we’ll do the rest,” or words to that effect.

Be interesting to see whether he proves truthful or either too frightened or loyal to say anything that would actually be useful and damning. You know damn well he quit because he wasn’t willing to incriminate himself. That doesn’t mean he’s some honest do-gooder who will be willing to tell the truth that might incriminate some of these other people. It was simple self-interest.

Pak was treated horribly and lost, what I assume, was a dream job at the altar of Chump’s ego and Chump’s “save my ass for all the crimes I commit daily by sacrificing everything you hold holy and scrapping our Constitution, won’t you?”

Please, don’t hold back now Mr. Pak.

Yes, the rest of what he said was even more damning, in my eyes. As CNN reported, the notes taken by deputy AG Richard Donoghue said, "“Just say that the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me and the R. Congressmen.”

Clark now works for a conservative non-profit, and will fight tooth and nail any attempts to subpoena him to testify before any Congressional committee.

FIFY.

Yet he did resign. That is more than you can say about 100s of others from those four years.

From his Wiki bio: The Wall Street Journal reported that Pak was forced to resign by senior White House officials in the Trump administration for not investigating false claims of election fraud “enough”

On January 3, 2021, Trump called top Georgia officials, which was recorded, and pressured them to help him “find” more votes in order to overturn the election of President Biden. During the call Trump references Atlanta and Fulton Counties of Georgia and the “never-Trumper U.S. attorney there.” Pak’s district included those counties and resigned the next day citing “unforeseen circumstances.

So, I guess there is some hope here.

And how were those 100s of others directly approached or implicated in these kinds of schemes such that they are analogous?

You might want to altar your comment.
