For some of them, being ill with Covid is an embarrassment considering their position and messaging. Admitting that they have been ill with the virus is too much. It would be like them discussing their ED.

Seriously. Absolutely NOTHING is off the table for the GOP right now. They are DONE with democracy and what they consider to be a farce of sharing power with people they believe they were intended by God to rule over. Anyone who thinks they won’t resort to poisoning people to regain control of the Senate or any other legislature or source of power is fooling themselves.

Relax everyone. Governor Scott has previously said he would appoint an independent who would caucus with the democrats and also not run for the seat when the possibility of Bernie taking a position on the Biden administration was raised.
