Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) isn’t backing down from his attacks against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) that he made at a rally for Louisiana’s Republican gubernatorial candidate Eddie Rispone Wednesday night.
Whenever folks precede a comment with, “I mean no disrespect,” they mean disrespect. When I say it must suck to be as dumb and as embarrassing to his constituents as Sen. Cornpone, I mean disrespect.
“I don’t mean any disrespect…” = “Hold on to your seats as the Disrespect Express is coming through and the brakes failed about 20 miles back…”
I like how all these GOPers insist the language of the 2nd Amendment is sacrosanct, but the Constitutional language providing for the rights of the House to conduct an impeachment in a form the majority of that body agrees on is a sham.
