Good. We need her talents in the Senate. She has nothing to be ashamed of. She ran an honorable campaign. This misogynist, racist country is not ready to elect a female person of color.
Crap. She’s never been #1 on my list but I’ve been paying her some attention and wanted to hear more. I’d take her over ten Steny Hoyers and Mike Bloombergs any day.
Sorry to hear, but she can play a lot of other really important roles. And possibly refine / define a lot of points and try again someday.
She will be great on the campaign trail as a surrogate for the nominee.
Can Cory Booker sub for her at the December debate?
Placeholder until she is named AG under a Democratic administration. Her campaign was just having too many difficulties. She will be great. Her time is not now.
Guess Giuliani found out about her board membership at Burisma.
Biden/Harris 2020?
Genuinely surprised to see her face reality here – high name recognition and widespread approval from the Dem base, but low fundraising and abysmal polling. Now she gets a chance to see if a timely endorsement can put someone else over the top in California and elsewhere on Super Tuesday.
I want her in a more powerful position. VP isn’t going to be enough. AG will still make her a reasonable presidential candidate in a better place and time than now.
ETA: This is about when I saw some mid-range candidates stepping away. This needs to happen with several more prior to New Year.
It was a fait accompli since she started closing offices and firing staff early last month…
I’m just saying, if I were Harris and Biden offered, I would take it.
Too bad. Please run again though!!!
Buttigieg/Harris 2020
Absolutely. No question.
