Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto’s (D-NV) Republican challenger, former state Attorney General Adam Laxalt, wants you to know that he’s at peace with the fact that more than a dozen of his own family members have openly backed his rival.
I wonder how many of those non-endorsers are women?
Laxalt’s entire family gave him a vote of no confidence. That should mean something. Let’s hope it does.
Did all this waste of carbon’s crime footage in all his campaign ads, happen during that last shitty, miserable summer when The Rump was still President? Ron Johnson at least has that prick from Waukesha driving into the Christmas parade but he is totally running against the Trump crime wave caused by mismanagement of the Trump virus.
Point of fact, Rump wasn’t quite thrown TF out the White House yet when the Waukesha Christmas parade prick happened, either. Which makes RoJo 100% running against the Trump crime wave.

But seriously - if you really don’t give a shit about your own family … why should anyone think you might trouble yourself to do anything for anyone else - unless it truly benefits you … and then the benefits to others are just random coincidence.
Laxalt proves he’s a real Republican because he doesn’t give a fuck about anything else except grabbing as much power as he can.

Agree. Thats a big family. And at some point (i dont know exactly when, but 40 seems a good number) the “family” becomes a “tribe” or a “clan”.

this really isn’t a surprise… his family wouldn’t endorse him when he ran for governor… he’s just running on his father’s name as a previous governor… you never see or hear anything from him unless he’s back trying to run for office
My family is quite small. Total including cousins, spouses, kids and grand kids…14. The Laxalt tribe is something like 36 I am not sure if that includes spouses, children, grand kids and cousins

I don’t need his family’s word to find Laxalt disturbing … figured it all by myself given the breadcrumbs the size of boulders.
But politically this is an astute response. What is he supposed to do? Go in front of the cameras and break down in tears?
I’m more concerned about the Nevada races and Arizona governor than any others in the country. I expect the crazy to prevail in Florida and Texas, no matter the resistance of good people. But I still hold hope that the southwest can keep moving toward the light. Will be a horrible and dangerous setback if they follow the Desantis and Abbott model to the dark side, which they absolutely will if the cult succeeds.
