(from TX): Cornyn will fold.
Not so sure - he’s plenty pissed about Trump ruining his career.
I’d be delighted to be wrong!
Don’t trust and verify.
Fingers crossed. But look at the bright side - without Trump shitting all over Cornyn, we wouldn’t get to delight in watching Ken Paxton slithering all over the floor.

I have heard that not answering questions while in Senate hearings will get you a contempt charge.
Lack of integrity and respect for the honor of the AG position, as well as contempt for Congress and the Constitution are not qualities compatible with holding the position of Attorney General of the United States.
Prosecution of Fauci while confirming Todd Blanche is all you need to know about whether this Senate is doing the people’s business or whether this Senate is a group ofjust water boys doing errands for someone who ruined our government and who made $2 billion last year alone as a result of his position.
Invoking the Fifth might drive Aqua Buddha batshit crazy but it does not qualify as contempt.

The senators from Texas and North Carolina also want the audit immunity agreement for Trump, his family and business that was included in that settlement to be changed.
“They’ve agreed to our demands to give US audit immunity, but not yet to extend it to our FAMILIES.”
Tillis is as likely to cave as Cornyn is. Probably both.
