So, OSHA can’t enforce its workplace safety mission.
Does this mean that my lab manager can, finally, open up our lab’s benzene containers? Ever since we’ve been following OSHA’s rules on benzene containment, I’ve missed that sweet smell.
Oh yeah, and down at our local Applebee’s, the franchise owner has been agitating that because line cooks must wash their hands EVERY time they go to the bathroom, he’s losing valuable profits to their lack of productivity. And that their freedom to urinate on their hands is being infringed upon.

After insisting thrice, almost biblically, that he wasn’t saying the vaccines are unsafe, Justice Samuel Alito claimed: “Some people who are vaccinated … will suffer adverse consequences.”
This fucking argument drives me crazy. It’s like saying the kitchen’s on fire but don’t use the fire extinguisher because some of those chemicals could cause cancer.

I’m guessing their arbitrary declarations won’t be quite so arbitrary. Predictions can probably be based on whether it’s a Republican or Democratic administration regulation. And, what does big business prefer.

There’s a difference in that versus how they’ve handled vaccines previously.
Where addressed, vaccinations have been required to be offered to certain employees in certain situations, but no requirement has been on the employee to take the vaccine.
So this is new territory they’re into.
Objectively, the Supremes are opportunists and assholes, but they’re not necessarily out of line to find this unconstitutional.
And the real guilty party is Congress, who could make the whole thing moot today by passing a vaccine mandate bill. Unfortunately, they’re on break, again.
