A lot of things happened. Here are some of the things. This is TPM’s Morning Memo.
Kelli Ward will have to cough up her phone records to the House Jan. 6 committee after the Supreme Court turned back her effort to rein in the subpoena against T-Mobile.
Curious to hear from AZ residents. The pundit class was enjoying trashing Katie Hobbs for supposedly running a bad campaign. Was that a fair evaluation?
So, I imagine that today on TPM will be all-Trump all the time. Breathless anticipation of the announcement no one wants to hear, including for members of his own party.
And then tomorrow will be more breathless reporting as to his announcement.
I guess I’m glad I’m in a testing session for two clients this week.
On the other hand, has Katie Porter won her midterms yet?
No. She was smart not to debate Lake. The only thing as I see it is there coulda been more signs for Hobbs tho there was the big billboard on East Speedway here in Tucson where a repub said “I’m a republican, I’m a gun owner, and I;m voting foir Katie Hobbs.”
Arizona resident here- I feel like Katie Hobbs ran a campaign that avoided engaging in dramatic tactics and didn’t engage with Lake’s baiting. But then I didn’t watch tv ads or anything like that.
I surely hope Kelli had exchanged texts with a certain spouse of a certain Supreme Court justice and we can wrap his dissent in this case around him.
Seemingly it would be appropriate for the house to share this with the Senate Judiciary committee and followed by hearings about applying the Judiciary Code of Ethics to the SC and watch Republicans have to defend corruption.
