Let’s hope they can do something… BUT, I am not going to hold my breath

manchin/sinema - The fascist minority has every right to control the agenda in this country. It’s what the founders intended. We, the majority, need to accept our role as losers especially if we two can get wealthy maintaining that position.

At any rate, I’m happy to see Schumer pushing this.

It should be easy to bring Manchin around. Just drop a provision in there to supplement EpiPen manufacturers to supply products to voting precincts. Since his family would personally benefit, it’s almost assured that he’d go for it. Because he’s just that way.

Hope springs eternal …but even if it doesn’t, it’s still worthwhile to get senators on the record, multiple times if necessary, if only to get their voters as interested in them as their corporate sponsors.

Why do these Democratic deadlines always feel like an own goal?

Haven’t we been here before, what feels like several thousand times? This just cannot be playing well with people who don’t follow politics closely.

His prior experience as a Federal legislator shows no indication of expertise in that field, either.

No problem: he also has no prior experience of being a dairy farmer, though his relations have a dairy farm in Iowa, as detailed by Vanity Fair magazine.
