That is good but ONLY if he doesn’t back down, and only if the deal is as iron-clad as possible. Personally, if I were a D Senator, I’d filibuster any budget unless I get the following : (1) A personal, public pledge from Drumpf that he will spend all appropriated funds as directed by Congress, and that he will not submit any recission packages in the next fiscal year; and (2) personal, public pledges from Thune and Johnson that when (not if) Trump reneges on his pledge and tries to submit a recission package after all, they will not bring it to the floor.

Conservative democrats will do nothing to stop Trump and the conservative agenda, they had 30 years to step up and all they do his protect the status quo while republicans run rough shod over them.

Perhaps the Democrats are finally starting to wake up? I’ll believe it when I see it. I hope that they decide to lead and not follow and wring their hands like Republican Senator Collins. The Democrats may not win the short term votes, but defend the ideals of this Country and keep swinging. And tell the venture capitalists, whether they support you or not, that they stand behind the citizens (all citizens), not in front of them, and they will no longer come first. And if that happens, I’ll make sure to use an umbrella outside all the time as surely pigs are flying.

Hey Chuck,

The president has also ordered the murder of a growing number of Venezuelans for the crime of being on a boat in the ocean, and has a personal police force kidnapping people off the street every single day. If the rule of law means anything to anyone, this has to stop.

As much as it is in your power to do so, end all new business in both chambers until the rule of law is restored.
