I just don’t get this. There are thousands of Americans out there, right now, who hate the extra unemployment benefits for their friends, neighbors, loved ones and certainly strangers but who’ll see no issues with this.

The RepubliCON party has done miracles convincing conservative Americans that they should be more concerned with someone taking pennies out of their pockets all while ignoring the people taking dollars out of their wallets.

I estimate at least a generation of Americans, and possibly two, will have to die off before we can begin to forge an enlightened 21st Century society here. Far too many people have remained far too convinced that the dry rot of a form of capitalism that has been failing the country for close to half a century now is what America is and should be.

I hope he hasn’t missed this from the Deseret News:

The Republican offer also includes Sen. Mitt Romney’s updated version of the TRUST Act that would ”rescue” trust funds like Social Security and Medicare.

Bi-partisan committees “to carefully consider the options that will ensure we protect and strengthen these programs.”

Too bad the deplorables won’t ever realize / admit that it’s also their ox is being gored, butchered, and left to rot.

That’s double speak for “let me remove your social security and medicare until it is solvent”. So basically half way to beyond… and never in this millennium.

Mittens has been after this very thing for decades.

I am sure Fox News will report that Schumer put it in the bill so he could shame Mitch into removing it. Of course, Schumer had no input into the Republican measure, but that won’t stop Fox from saying it or Trump supporters from believing it.

His solution will be to “invest” the trust funds with private managers like Bain…

yes, this sums up the opposition to the estate tax - a tax VERY few will actually pay, but is abhorrent to the right because they believe that their masters will give them enough scraps to cobble together an estate by the time they die.

more likely they will end up dying slowly and bankrupting themselves and/or their families due to medical debt…

No $600. a week for you but $1.75 billion for a FBI building located near the trumPP D.C. hotel. Of course. From our pockets into trumPP’s. And Mitch had no idea.

The FBI headquarters, which currently sits on Pennsylvania Avenue in downtown Washington, is just a stone’s throw away from Trump’s hotel.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who had already taken some heat for the delayed relief bill, told reporters during a press conference Monday that he was not aware the money for the FBI headquarters was included.

Schumer should propose a new headquarters for the CIA instead.

Russian cyber attacks against our country and its election process and Putin placing bounties on the heads of our troops are the real problems facing our nation. Our citizens protesting systemic racism is not.
