House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff (D-CA) said on Tuesday that President Trump’s claims that he was not briefed on the Russian scheme to target and kill American and coalition forces in Afghanistan are inexcusable. Schiff added that Trump’s “affinity” for Russian President Vladimir Putin continues to pose a national security threat.
What a colossal, unspeakable, dereliction of duties by the President and his IC appointees. There’s not enough sugar in Cuba to coat this.
Trump is a National Security Threat on a least 10 levels. And this one he can’t Barr his way out of.
McConnell kept Trump from being removed from Office.
Barr made that process take place in circumstances far more favorable to Trump

When I look at those Nate Silver numbers of Trump Disapproval, that–along with those who are bringing Bounty-Gate to us–gives us some hope. Our norms are more fragile than most of us think.

We can hope the Dems and sane folks form a strong majority of the voters in November. It seems increasingly likely, as Trump’s people continue to welcome COVID-19 infection.

Schiff is the anti-Trump, being an intelligent, educated, and serious man. And listening to him just then was faintly surreal, like hearing a doctor explaining the particulars of the cancer diagnosis you just got. The president of the United States is a traitor to the country. It really does literally strain credulity.
The guilty will always deny it. Not just Putin, but our imPOTUS, too.
