House Intelligence Committee chair Adam Schiff confirmed on Sunday that his committee had made an agreement with the whistleblower at the heart of the Ukraine scandal to hold a hearing.
An unfiltered testimony from someone with inside information about the Trump administration…man, the White House must have brains all over from the heads exploding. I wonder if this will be public, they may keep it private to protect the whistleblower…I hope it’s public though, Americans really need to hear from this person and why they decided it was critically important to make the complaint.
I expect the administration to sue to stop this from happening though, there is no way they can survive this kind of testimony, as names will be named and more witnesses will be brought into the light. And, when (not if, the courts have to allow this) they testify, we’ll see the Republicans in full on panic trying to tie the WB to everything from Benghazi to Clinton’s emails…someone will call them a liberal plant, liar, whatever they can. The desperation will be lovely to watch.
Maybe this law firm has a plan to deal with leaky old men. OTOH aren’t there some entrances to the WH where in the past at least presidents’ girlfriends were ushered in and no one got wind of it?
@drriddle It’s like Evelyn Mulwray said to Jakes Gittes, “I don’t get tough with anyone. My lawyer does.”
Isn’t Cipollone the lawyer who filed a brief claiming the president couldn’t be investigated? Or maybe these two are planning a trapped response? “I dunnit” would work.
