Checked on that this morning. At least for the Attorney General it’s exactly the same as for president. Never been done btw but that’s not a reason not to try. Dude gotta go.

Here’s a tea leaf. Ben Sasse, who has a safe seat in the Senate, to CNN:
Sen. Ben Sasse, a Republican from Nebraska, stopped to talk to reporters after leaving the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility, or SCIF, saying “there’s obviously some very troubling things here.”
He also roundly criticized the “partisan tribalism” coming from both parties and President Trump as opposed to a slow, deliberative approach.
It really seems obvious that they are on their back feet suddenly—it is going so fast they’re not even on message. This is not what I expected.

She recruited Trump to run, ordered Comey to make statements about her emails when it looked like she might win the election…
Then had her Ukrainian connections rig the election for Zelensky to give Trump a target he couldn’t resist.
All because Trump called Chelsea “fat” back when she was pregnant.

When the time comes, the GOP will cut him loose without a moment’s regret. Read earlier today some GOP senator said if it were a secret ballot he’d get 30 GOP votes to convict. He’s venal and stupid, he’s put them in the worst possible position, and they hate him for it. Not that I blame them. So imagine his shock when he’s left, utterly alone, to a very dismal fate. He’ll be weeping for the days when his only problem was being a billion dollars in debt.

thanks, I was confused about that too. I checked the news during my coffee break but now just a few hours later I’m already out of touch with what’s going on. I really wish news write-ups would stop assuming that if info is 2 hours old we’ve seen it already. I end up with huge holes in the story when they really could just fill us in a bit more.
