“Da duum. Da Duuum…”

The foreshadowing is excellent!..

I just love the production values throughout this entire series of events. They let us know how to frame what we’re going to see, they show us, then they explore the consequences - truly the best of Hollywood production values, and for a very, very worthy cause…

Is there a July schedule for the hearings yet, or is it all TBD, still?

“an attempted coup wrapped inside a violent riot wrapped inside some cosmetic protests on the outside,” according to the New York Times.

A coup inside a riot wrapped in a GOP.

They have not released the schedule, but there aren’t any planned before the end of this week so far. Of course, last week’s was a surprise, so we’ll see if they find something new they want to share.

The hearings are doing the unexpected, they are making this into a real thing that people are paying attention to. That’s good, because the critical aspects are still coming up…if they have linkages between the Trump administration and the militia groups that led the insurrection that is going to be huge. And, they have already shown that Meadows was participating in the Willard Hotel planning (as was Giuliani), so all it takes is showing they held meetings where leaders of the groups were also present. If that linkage is made, that connects the entire conspiracy together, and that absolutely nails some of these people to the wall. We can only hope they have generated that evidence, it’s really what’s needed (or at least something similar) to connect the violence to the effort to overturn votes.

I’d just like to say that this

makes this

look pretty damn stupid.

Trump’s video smearing Cassidy was totally batshit, straight from The Over Look Hotel.

“Here’s Donnie!”

May the Committee cut through all the misdirection being flung about by the agent-provocateurs and associated fascist forces who seek to destabilize the Republic further.

But enough about Peter Alexander and the news media .

Whether it’s people on the left giving their pronouns, or people on the right ending all access to abortion, both sides have betrayed women.

I commented to Mattinpa before the hearings started that he was going to appreciate the quality control. They are delivering. Trump and crew are quaking. Good times.

I would be happy to hear of a donnie trump indictment and his arrest and perp walk to a waiting cop car to be jailed as a flight risk

I think that all has been pretty well discounted and debunked. Haven’t heard that nonsense in quite a while.

What has been debunked?

I’m very much interested in the strength of these two juggernauts:

The fighters for giving needed information to the American people.
The fighters for keeping this information from them (and keepingDonald Trump out of stir).

It should be obvious that Trump (and TrumpWorld) are more interested than not in their ability to use their structural/institutional strength in their quest to keep the American people as ignorant of the aforementioned needed information as humanly possible

Sadly, I took the time to read that piece – and that’s five minutes of my life that I can never get back!

It came across as the toothless, albino, banjo-plucking love child of Bothsiderism and Transphobia.

(Of course, its author once thought marrying Bret Stephens was a great idea. So there’s that.)

Same. I’m left trying to figure out who the receptive audience is for this stuff. I’m baffled. But then again, I live in Tucson.
