Schiff Floats Taking DNI To Court To Get Details Of Whistleblower Complaint

Following a relatively newsless briefing with the intelligence community’s inspector general on Thursday morning, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) indicated that he would use whatever means necessary to quickly obtain a mysterious intelligence community whistleblower complaint, which reportedly centers on President Trump.

About the only thing Trump has learned as president is which government posts its worth his while filling with hacks.

They should have the House Sargent of Arms and his deputies detain these law breakers, and then make them file the lawsuits to try to get released.

Unfortunately, “going to court” nowadays means going to a McConnell-Trump court, which increasingly means …

I like Josh’s time line on the series of events that may/may not have led up to this. Seems pretty compelling.

Go to court

Urgent business

That seems like both an oxymoron and catering to a moron.

So, Trump declares that the DNI lacking funding constitutes a national emergency. Which would seem plausible. Then, citing a recent favorable ruling from SCOTUS regarding wall construction money as precedent, he redirects DoD funding to the DNI.

Sure you don’t want to start with a sternly worded letter

WHAT THE FUCK!

Its either an urgent matter or not. If urgent, getting tied up in court for years is not an option - so leak it. If its not urgent, then just leak it.

Leak whatever it is. Someone needs to grow some balls or the jig is up.

Exactly. This needs to be leaked immediately – for the good of the country.

Then today’s details/ likely lawsuit forces a likely Republican judge to again ask why Schiff’s request hasn’t been taken care of.

People are starting to get the impression that the Democrats have nothing on Trump and are just making mountains out of molehills. Lewandowski’s hearings were a fiasco and made the judiciary look like idiots. Schiff saying on one hand that this is urgent, but looking into maybe going to court on the other, is another horrible signal.

Keep in mind that, as frustrated as we all are and, if you’re like me, fairly bursting with political bloodlust, if the Dems weren’t in control of the House, Such nefarious things would never have even cracked the surface, much less seen the light of day.

Congress obviously doesn’t have the details of the whistleblower’s complaint. The DNI and the IG have it. Trump and his consigliere Wm. Barr probably have it, too.

The only one’s who can leak it are the whistleblower, the DNI, or the IG.

At this point I rather that it not see the light of day. If nothing can be done about it then it just makes our entire system look like a sham.

Hmm, unicorn hemorrhainbows. Nasty.

Makes you wonder how much crap is bottled up that occurred in Trump’s first two years.
