My mother in law has a gram positive bacteria infection in her lungs and has hit the limit in terms of antibiotics effectiveness. My cousin, an MD that thinks out the box has used UV Light treatment on some of her elderly patients who developed pneumonia and the treatment was quite successful so she recommended it for my MIL. We purchased a home unit that she sits in front of 4 hours a day and it has improved her condition where she is no longer coughing excessively throughout the day, is sleeping for longer stretches at night and has cut back on her oxygen use. I have read where some hospitals are re-purposing old treatments and they seem to be effective. There is one case in China where a woman, 63 years of age had the irks and her organs were shutting down. Drs decided to try stem cells and within 4 days she was up and walking.

That’s awesome! They were terribly slow out of the gates, but then did an amazing job getting things under control. Because Xi, though ruthless, is competent, so he listened to their experts and utilized the heavy-handed tactics available to an authoritarian state.
Unfortunately, we have Trump and too many of his idiotic followers think this is a joke, so our best-case scenario is probably going to be Italy’s experience.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) announced Sunday morning that he is taking “additional distancing precautions” in light of a former staffer testing positive for COVID-19.
There’s only one thing to do at this point: Call for an immediate meeting between Chiselin’ Trump, Pence, Mnuchin, Kudlow, and this former staffer to work out a plan for addressing the impending crisis.
