Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), chair of the House Intelligence Committee and member of the Jan. 6 Select Committee, on Sunday outlined what information the public can learn from the release of a redacted affidavit that led to the FBI’s search of former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort earlier this month.
I can wait until TFG and a bunch of other folks are indicted before I need to know.
“Reinhart, who has faced an onslaught of threats and harassment from Trump supporters since signing off on the search warrant, reportedly acknowledged redaction process could be lengthy and sometimes turns documents into ‘meaningless gibberish’.”
In all fairness, Trump supporters have been swallowing meaningless gibberish for a long time now.
The contrast between the adults and the tantrum toddlers is pretty stark right now.
I’m surprised that Donnie hasn’t started his own Trump Gibberish University by now.
The only reason the possibility of releasing it is being considered is that TFG has made it an issue by his bellyaching. It would be a bad precedent to release this affidavit.
I’m waiting for the declassifiation pixies to weigh in.
What’s more alarming, that Trump had top secret documents at home, or that TPM published two articles on one day on a weekend???

I don’t think it’s necessarily nefarious Trump strategic bellyaching. The “legacy news outlets” have been clamoring for it and filled a motion with the court to release the affidavit. Trump’s lawyers, if that’s what they really are, haven’t said a word about this process and his other “shyster from the dark side,” Mr. Trusty ( sounds like the name of an invisible friend) is filing for a special master 2 weeks after the fact. In short the Trump defense is inept, as usual.
Actually, the media were the ones in court arguing to have it released.
Not every day that you have an ex-president credibly accused of espionage, definitely public interest in hearing more about this.
For Trump: In any social parlance, words can be weaponized. No matter what those words are. It comes naturally to him and he has the ability to utilize others for that purpose.

They have a never ending need for click bait to drive their both sides, false equivalence, outrage business model. Public edification would be one of those inadvertent consequences.

We will see if he even files the request for a special master that his attorney claimed would be filed on Friday. Nothing yet. Also, some sort of 4th amendment claim was to be filed -if you believe DJT.
