MSNBC host Joe Scarborough ended his Monday show with an entreaty to Sens. Ben Sasse (R-NE) and Mitt Romney (R-UT) to condemn President Donald Trump’s comments about a group of Democratic congresswomen of color.
Yes, Sasse and Romney please do send us your thoughts and prayers.
The cancer in America exploded yesterday:

OK, I am holding my breath waiting for Romney or Sasse to condemn Trump for anything. Trump may be doing the country a favor in the long run by showing how crassness, corruption, degeneracy, bigotry, misogyny, viciousness, fear, hatred, and racism have become the calling cards of the Republican party.
Sasse and Romney? Scarborough thinks they are differenct than the criminal in the WH’s Republican enablers, how?
Also, I am sure Susan Collins is concerned but she has been pretty quiet lately, with the exception of doubling down on her vote for Kavanaugh.
Collins considered almost instructing an aide to draft a tweet, but ultimately decided against it.

I guess I’m sort of amazed that there are still people who ascribe Trump’s actions to some sort of higher-level eleven-dimensional-chess strategery, that he’s acting thoughtfully and carefully to distract from his own problems. Last week we had AOC partisans at Pelosi’s neck, and vice versa. It was a Republican tactician’s dream. Today, we have “Senator X, your party’s president told native-born black Americans to go back where they came from. Do you agree?”
