Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) blasted on Thursday President Donald Trump’s approving response to the unhinged “QAnon” conspiracy theory that alleges that Trump is on a secret mission to expose a mass child sex trafficking ring among Democrats, “deep state” actors in the government, and other high-power elites.
Not just “nuts”…
It’s alarming that Trump does NOT know if those conspiracies are good or bad!

“At the crux of this theory is the belief that you are secretly saving the world from this satanic cult of pedophiles and cannibals. Does that sound like something you are behind?”

You know, if I can help save the world from problems, I’m willing to do it — I’m willing to put my self out there. And we are, actually. We’re saving the world from a radical left philosophy that will destroy this country. And when this country is gone the rest of the world would follow.”

Sasse is on the Senate Intelligence committee.
So he knows what the truth is, but is clearly in the middle of things if he’s trying to cover it all up like this.
Yet he did not vote in favor of impeachment. Sasse is only slightly better than most Trump Toadies.
Good on Sasse. How much airtime will his comments get on Fox, and what are Hannity and his ilk there saying about QAnon? Anybody know?
