But like Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), Sasse urged both Republicans and Democrats to get all the information first before landing on a final impeachment inquiry verdict.

When it’s time to lay siege to the WH the Dems can use Sasse and Rubio as battering rams.

I have no issue with this. I don’t expect Republicans to stop being politicians and all of the sudden help get Schiff elected President in 2028 or even Biden in 2020. Sure, he calls it a clown show. He also calls it constitutional. That’s a big slap to The Don.
He doesn’t give Trump much encouragement or support here. This is kind of what I’m expecting from the Republicans in the Senate willing to hang Trump. Cautious but cryptic statements about POTUS while bashing Democrats on procedure.
