The Morning Memo format makes The Hive comments jump around topics (which doesn’t take much to do so in any event) but damn the snark is really good.
I think there is only one district in that state.
Raskin also fired this lil zinger at Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL): “Look, it’s really tough to find a rental tuxedo this time of year: It’s high school prom season, and Matt Gaetz keeps getting the tuxedos that I want.”
I doff my cap, Rep. Raskin.

Before you go too far into that remember that obesity in America is a byproduct of the marginalization of the masses with wealth inequity. If people are to be extracted for the 1% you’ve got to give them something to satisfy themselves or they’re going to start thinking about their lot in life. So fat and sugar ( mother nature set that one up ) is it. Give em burgers, processed food and “snacks” and make that cheap enough the folks can go home with a 24 inch pizza and watch Oprah and not care about the shithole mobile home and beater 1976 pickup that is all they have. You have to have foreign eyes to see the in your face joke the American Dream is and how it works to the disadvantage of most and the advantage of a few. The media is in on it. Politics is in on it. Business is in on it. Organized religion is in on it. Millions have no defense.
I have to admit, I lol’ed. And here I thought Ted Cruz was so well-liked! He gets hugs from flight attendants and everything! And they probably say “Sir” too.
Haven’t you heard?? All politics is national now.
Who better to represent the welfare queens who like to pose as rugged self-reliant individualists, than uber-phoney Sarah Palin? How are those small-town family values going BTW?
I don’t disagree, but the Senate is still doing his bidding. When that stops, I’ll believe him falling out of favor.
He means Steve Schmidt and Nicolle Wallace, who’ve been trashing him for years. Evidently he’s noticed.
The number in the Senate is on the decline. Mitch and Mitt are out. There’s no one in America with a better political wind vane than Mitch and his actions tell us what he sees.
Punishing people for being poor and/or not knowing how to eat right when even the supposed experts disagree with what constitutes “healthy eating.” That’s disgusting.
Fetterman also did not participate in a candidate forum held by Black clergy in Philadelphia last month. His campaign said his responsibilities presiding over the state Senate made it impossible to attend.

Don’t know about this. There are a lot of articles out there on his skipping out on these, but most are behind paywalls. His campaign needs to have a serious re-evaluation of this stance.
This could be heaven, or this could be hell.
As you pointed out Ms. Palin is a half term governor. I wonder in the modern era, 1950-present, how many state governors have been elected to the House of Representatives? Or to widen it how many full or half term governors have been elected to either chamber?
Now on the other side if she gets elected guess who has seniority over the half baked Alaskan? MTG, Cawthorn, and Boebert. Just let that marinate for a couple of minutes.
If you read the Minocqua Brewing company discussion on this, this cartoon is exactly what it is.
How much time will she spend campaigning in Alaska?
I expect to see her more often than not in states like Florida and Texas.
I can attest to that after my year working the register at Target. I couldn’t believe how much crap people were buying. Looking at the customer and looking at their order, I had no difficulty understanding how one led to the other.
And before one accuses me of racism or anything else, we’re a fairly well-off area (suburban Twin Cities) with little affordable housing. Our demographic is more than 90% white.
Yeah but does he have a better furrowed brow than Collins? Who do we get to judge that contest?
How about just a friggin’ vote for KBJ from Sen. Concerned-ND? Yeah, I didn’t think so.
Yeah but both sides do it…
