Pathological liar -lies about everything just like his mentor DJT.

“At no point does Representative Santos appear to have owned a Maserati, despite telling campaign staff otherwise.”

The picture I’m getting is not just pathological liar, but also compulsive gambler.

It’s remarkable how much effort Santos has put into all this. Most medical professionals do not put the time and effort into advancing their careers that this fool has.

I guess he really is all that worthless a human.

Sad. Self-loathing shouldn’t have to lead to prison.

I really don’t understand why people like this willingly run for office when they know there is going to be intense scrutiny. Stick your head too far above ground the lawn mower cuts it off. Same thing happened to Trump.

It really sounds like there’s a network of these grifters who prey on likely unsuccessful candidates for office and do their best to drain them dry. And it mostly sounds like it’s a Rethug phenomenon rather than Democrat, but who knows?

Although since Repubs these days seem to have active fantasy lives rather than living in the real world, that would make it easier to believe flimflammers’ promises and lies.

During the campaign why didn’t Santos’s democratic opponent find evidence of his criminal activity? Where was the local democratic party? While most of the illegal activity sited in this article occurred after the election, Santos was a two bit scam artist prior to the election. Apparently the Democrats couldn’t be bothered to conduct opposition research.

Just in time for the holidays…George has a new children’s book out. Sort of an autobiography.

Well, I don’t think this is going to turn out the way it did for Harold Hill.

I think the dude is going to do a runner.

And George is not the only Republican out there like this. Further deepens my view that most Republicans running for office if not already in, are grifters soaking their supporters. It is almost institutionalized.

It should when people take that self-loathing out on others through fraud or abuse.

The DCCC gave the Dem nominee a collection of opposition research on Santos, but he had limited financial resources and a short election calendar, so he decided against following up on any of it. Dropped the ball bigly.

I get what you’re saying: Santos needs a Maserati for the healing to begin. And there just happens to be a GoFundMe page…

sigh This has been debunked multiple times - they did!

Even a local paper picked up on his con:

But, of course, no one else picked it up:

“Media got distracted” is code for “they were all too busy flogging Zeldin4Guv” to be bothered with the conman running for House.

The House Ethics committee report on Rep. George Santos (R-NY) that was released on Thursday…concluded that Santos was at the center of a “complex web of unlawful activity” as he “sought to fraudulently exploit every aspect of his House candidacy for his own personal financial profit.”

If there was ever a case of the kettle calling out the pot, this is it.
