Ha ha ha
He had a lot of tricks up his sleeve. Multi-talented.
I wonder if this indictment will cause Santos’s ratings and reputation to rise as much as Trump’s did after he was indicted.
If so, maybe being indicted will become a litmus test for future aspiring Republican politicians. Looks like a trend may have been reborn.
Do these people ever play it straight? The influence of oligarchs, dark money and brazen criminal behavior undermine the workings of government and the confidence of the electorate who may get the impression that their vote is worthless…throw in the Gerrymandering and subversive actions of certain candidates and you wonder who could fault us for being discouraged here in the "greatest country in the world "

They must have his passport - right? My guess is he will try to escape the country disguised as his feminine alter ego with phony credentials. A smart criminal would be gone yesterday.
He wasn’t in trouble with the Romans; he was in trouble with the limited home rule the Romans allowed its province of Judea, especially on religious matters. And if he hadn’t been crucified there would have been no Christian religion today starring the one and only Jesus Christ resurrected. (Lazarus was the first, but Jesus took the credit and then outdid him with the Assumption.) Makes for an epic on par with Homer or DeMille.
George sounds kind of Crook-ish to me.
And not one goddamned thing will happen to this fucking sleeper agent, or whatever the fuck he is, because the GOP needs him to ram their fascist agenda down our throats.
Do you think that Republican voters will ever learn to do at least a minimum of research into who they are voting for? The mindless, knee-jerk vote for any creature with a ( R ) beside it’s name has resulted in the stupidest/crookedest Congress this country has ever suffered.
OTOH, this victim was targeted because they had already made a donation to Santos’ campaign, so maybe the fraud prevented them from giving $$$ to other GQP hacks.
Maybe it stand for Attention (unmentionable) instead? Sorry, but I’m just so tired of this freakin’ Trumplican Party clown show, the whole lot of them.
All of you folks are going straight to Hell.
(I include myself, because I recently spent a weekend fighting Word 365. It won.)
Does anybody know what the H stands for?
I believe Mary and Joseph took that argument to the their graves.
Horacio, traditionally.
The frauds which Santos allegedly committed to fund his campaign and his own lifestyle purportedly lasted from late 2021 through 2022.
You know what he needs? A completely honestly purchased and useful lectern.
Which is why Republicans defend payday lenders and check cashing co.s to the death.
Or you are admitting you were an accomplice.
George Santos will stay in Congress until the next election because, like with so many current Republicans in office from Donald Trump to Ron Johnson to Jim Jordan and Steve “I am David Dukes without the baggage” Scalise, Republicans need the lowest of the low, the craziest of the crazy, the worst of the worst, the most evil of evil, to remain in power. That is while they may say differently, Republicans will do everything possible to keep Santos in Congress through November 2024.
That is George Santos is emblematic, ( serving as a symbol of a particular quality or concept; symbolic, “this case is **emblematic of a larger problem”) of the current Republican Party.
Cobbling together racists, misogynists, xenophobics, religious bigots, outright cooks, crazies and basically those who either want first to see others harmed instead of themselves do well, with the funding of foreign nationals and billionaires whose economic interests they represent, Republicans have remained relevance and in fact done very well given their economic policies hurt the majority of their voters.
With a slim 221 to 213 with two seats vacant, one likely to be split next month when filled, they cannot afford to lose Santos whose seat if filled would likely go to a Democrat.
Now considering all Republicans have done and said over the last 40 years for POWER, does anyone really doubt, given the importance of every congressional seat and the probability if Santos goes his seat will be filled by a Democrat, that while saying they want Santos to leave will in fact do everything they can to keep him in Congress as long as possible?
Liz Cheney’s replacement, Hagrid or whatever her name is, showed up with a lasso today.
