Rick Santorum said this week that he hasn’t yet decided about a run for president in 2012, pointing out that “this race hasn’t even begun to take shape. That’s why it’s again, an opportunity to sort of get a sense as to how open people are to other candidates.”In an interview with IowaPolitics.com on Tuesday, Santorum said that “I don’t see anybody trying to push down the starting gate at this point and I think there’s a lot of reasons for that. Right now, it’s an opportunity for me to get around, talk to folks, learn, listen and get feedback as to whether they think this is a good idea or not. Really test the waters.”
