Santorum Makes Wild Comparison Between Proud Boys And Protesters | Talking Points Memo

Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum (R) on Wednesday said Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s apparent failure to “go after his own” amid spats of violence during recent protests was just as bas as President Trump’s refusal during Tuesday night’s debate to condemn white supremacy.

No Trumpy has not condemned white supremacy before. Santorum is as bat shit crazy as Trumpy. Why is he even on TV anymore?

And I was appalled that they were still going to Christie for sound bites. Jesus Christ.

It is amazing to speculate that Santorum used to be the worst that the Republicans had to offer.

Santorum quickly said, adding: “I just don’t think that the president is out there encouraging people to violence, because the president is for law and order, period.

So he is for violence. Yeah, we all picked up on that.

Santorum as his name suggests is spreading santorum and is incapable of soiling himself any further.

Santorum…Santorum…hmm…oh, yeah, a moral scold from the past.

Aren’t there more than enough still-relevant moral scolds around willing to come on TV and defend the most immoral president in US history? Why did some CNN producer put Santorum on TV? Does he hang out in the CNN lobby every day begging for some camera time?

“I think the President was right in pointing out that the left is out there, you know, in Portland and lots of other places, causing violence,” Santorum said, adding: “The fact that Biden didn’t go after his own was equally as reprehensible."

Well, bless his tiny little itsy-bitsy heart. The Good Lord knows what the problem here really is. The Good Lord knows that Rick is overflowin’ with Santorum.

Santorum got voted out in PA.

He said he wanted to get rid of Social Security, which wasn’t a good move for his job security.

Hmmm, santorum. Shouldn’t someone clean that up?

One would think you’d be a tad more careful with wild comparisons, Mr. Frothy remains of Lube and Fecal Matter.

Biden said on stage last night that violence is not protest and should be prosecuted. He has clearly stated that, and for people like Santorum to continue to say that Biden is in favor of violence is out of bounds. It’s all they have though, the desperation to say what Biden thinks instead of react to what Biden actually says shows that they need to run against a boogeyman because Biden can easily defeat Trump.

And, defending Trump’s call to white supremacy by pointing at Biden is really low, but no surprise…it’s not much longer until Republicans are defending white supremacy openly at the rate this is going.
