CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford said Tuesday that he won’t run for office again if he fails in his quest for political redemption and loses the race for the congressional seat he previously held for three terms.Sanford made the remarks to reporters after casting his own ballot in the special election. He faces Elizabeth Colbert Busch, the sister of political satirist Stephen Colbert, in the race for the 1st District congressional seat.
