Sandy Hook Atty: Jan. 6 Panel, Feds Request Alex Jones’ Phone Records

An attorney representing the parents of Sandy Hook shooting victims on Thursday confirmed that the Jan. 6 Select Committee is requesting two years-worth of records from the phone of far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, and claimed other federal entities were also interested in the records. The news comes a day after Rolling Stone reported on the development.

This POS deserves everything that will come to him. He is a profiteer and must be taken off the air.

When you lie, it’s hard to keep track of all the lies. He could have responded that he did not recall but he was incapable of keeping his mouth closed. He was beat back with his own words. I love it.

And when he loses this case, he can claim it wasn’t his fault.

And when the Feds come after him, he can claim it wasn’t his fault.

He’s the real victim, here.

The judge denied Reynal’s motion for a mistrial.

Good.

Though I’m 100% sure Jones will try and use this snafu for an appeal when he gets screwed to the wall in this case.

Hey Alex. Anyone ever tell you that “karma is a bitch?”

More than just a profiteer, he makes money base solely on lies. And if it damages someone so much the better cuz it gets clicks for his advertisers. The sicker the lie the more $$ he gets. His advertisers should bail and that would kill his income.

Can Jones sue his lawyers?

Be still my heart. It keeps getting better and better and better. He’s screwed six ways to Sunday – and then some.

Not to be outdone, I am quite sure DOJ wants to talk with Jones.

Is there a lawyer on here who could explain to me how sending documents that should have been sent during discovery to the defense is a mistake on the part of Jones’s lawyers? It seems to me that they were legally required to do that, and that the whole summary judgment thing was about their failure to even do the bare minimum, which would include this. Just curious.

Anybody can sue anybody for anything.

Can he prevail? No way. Now matter how incompetently they handled this thing, Jones would still have to prove that he would have won the case with competent representation. And that ain’t happening because his refusal to turn over discovery documents lost the case for him.

Also, it basically puts all his attorney-client communications at issue, so the privilege is waived. He should not want that to happen.
