Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) claimed victory in the Iowa caucuses Thursday, three days after the caucuses themselves but before the official final tally of results had been completed by the state’s Democratic Party.
Dear Iowa, it is time to get rid of the caucuses and move to a primary. Best of luck to you. This is no longer a story. NH has a primary and the debate is on Friday. Can we move on?
The man who wins the POPULAR vote wins…PERIOD. Delegates. Electors. That’s all just BS designed to overcome an inconvenient truth like BERNIE WINNING. Suck on it, Perez. Suck on it, DNC. Suck on it, Shadow, Inc. The PEOPLE want Bernie.
I am so concerned about Sanders that I am investigating running as a delegate in our district caucuses. My district has a Sanders delegate. That must be opposed.
This 77 year old “my socialist way, or I take my voters home” dude got roughtly 26% of the delegates, he got 49.59% last time. His vote fell by over 23% of the electorate from what he got in 2016.
Meanwhile a 37 year old mayor, who just happens to be Gay, got more delegates than he did. And moderate-liberal candidates got 56% of the vote in caucuses - which are always more liberal than are primaries (as the highly motivated left wing shows up, real people with real job/kids, etc frequently can…)
How is this a “victory”. Alas the lazy media, who love Sanders as it sticks it to the democrats will cover him without a hint of negativity.
She would probably be winning since she’s obviously the most qualified candidate and most Democratic voters know she got screwed out of the Presidency. She certainly wouldn’t be getting “crushed”.
