The Russian government denied travel visas for Sens. Chris Murphy (D-CT) and Ron Johnson (R-WI) on Monday ahead of their scheduled trip to Russia with a bipartisan group of U.S. lawmakers.

Putin has Trump and McConnell. He doesn’t give 2 Fs about the Senate, much less dumbo Johnson.

So Trump’s Puppet master is banning Dem Legislators while Trump’s Puppet has also banned Muslim Dem legislators…must be a new P3 Club…a racist puppet/puppet master club comprised of Murderous Vlad, DonThe CON & Bibi**h!

Who needs G7 when there’s a new P3 Club!

Russia is basically Mexico with nuclear weapons.

Roughly the same population and GDP as Mexico.

We bankrupted the old Soviet Union, which was much more formidable.

We should be applying maximum pressure…they’ll fold like a cheap suit.

They should also stop playing with atoms…they are really bad at it.

Frankly, I’d be glad to be barred from Russia. It sounds like an extremely dangerous place for anyone who doesn’t actively support the ruthless criminals who constitute its government.

I’d assume all public accommodations are potentially bugged and all tea is potentially radioactive.

What’s the point if it’s not safe to go anywhere, eat anything, or even travel through its customs checkpoints?

In a real world this would merely ensure that Putin is denied entry to the U.S. for a goddamn G-7 meeting next year.

“rude remarks” ??? The Russian embassy responded by accusing Johnson of making “rude remarks” about Russian foreign policy “in his usual [R]ussophobic manner.”
… was this snark lifted from “The Housewives of Moscow”?

No, they are taking lessons from Trump.

In order for Putin to be denied entry to the G7 next year, it would have to be the G8 first. Currently, he’ll be blocked from entry because it’s the G7.

Not really. There is a protocol for inviting guests and observers.

I’m having trouble conceptually with that. I’m not sure how one could be dumber than he appears.

This Kabuki act is far more convincing:

I recall when being barred from entering Russia was a badge of honor in the U.S.
How things have changed.
