I hope someone, preferably involved in Democratic politics, is scoping out the options for purging the Supreme Court of the Seditious Six. Yeah, yeah, no majority, blah blah blah. But the day will come when Democrats have power again, and they need to be ready to clean house.
Most likely impeachment is out: too high a bar under partisanship. Term limits or age limits would need to be ex post facto, and that doesn’t fly for the current problem. Bad conduct is a possibility, and we know at least three of them have been on the take for years.
Time to get creative! Get smart! Remember how Republicans huddled in their spider holes for years when out of power, all the time plotting and scheming? And even writing a detailed book on what they’d do when back in control?
Democrats need to think ahead, too. Surely the members of the Party can agree on some common principles, right? Some common goals? And get somebody who talks American to put it into words?

Depends on what happens after “locate”. Although the fact that someone figured out what hotel they were in in Chicago to call in a bomb threat and some have appeared on The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell, the FBI doesn’t have much to do.
The warrants issued in Texas were only valid there. Have new federal warrants been issued to they can be arrested elsewhere?

So I did my own research this AM and it takes $14-$15M to conduct a census.
And I know that the money needed for this un-needed extra census isn’t going to be taken from DonOLD’s decorating budget. The Census Bureau will need to hire half a million census takers.

I am assuming you were just picking a big number when you said half a million census takers? At $10/hour, a half million census takers would cost 40 million a day, so either the math isn’t mathing or I am just too literal sometimes.

For the 2020 US Census, the Census Bureau aimed to hire approximately 500,000 temporary workers. These positions included census takers who would go door-to-door, as well as other roles like office workers and address canvassers. The actual number of census takers hired varied throughout the year, with peak employment in August 2020 reaching 288,000. The Bureau had to adapt its hiring schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
From the mighty Google. And whether this is was because of COVID or normal the Google didn’t say. But number of folks hired were not employed for the whole year.
In doing my own research, conducting a census takes time, planning, and research. Not something that I would expect from a Trump maladministration.

Actually it’s the other way around. Once again, if the Democrats had one fucking brain cell among them they’d drive Fat Donnie up a wall by calling Vought the president, and Trump is just following his orders and the orders of the billionaires he works for. Fat Boy likes to project strength, so the Democrats should be CONSTANTLY cutting him down to size and talking about him as a flunky doing the business of others.
