These people have told Trump that itâs unclear what the feds have and that any statement could backfire both on him and on Giuliani. Moreover, various people in Trumpâs social and political orbits have been trying to convince the former president for years that Giuliani has been too great a liability for him, and they have suggested that he cut the lawyer loose.â

Cute that Giuliani thinks that Trump (and therefore âTrump worldâ) wonât underbus him like theyâve done with previous Trump associates (see Manafort, Gates, etc). Unless Giuliani is still of use to Trump, he will get discarded to face the SDNY all on his own.
New York City lawyers have always amazed me. Really very little they wonât say in a legal proceeding.
Rudyâs defense is that he did everything for Trump, and with the participation of various Trump goons, so therefore everything is fine.
